Issuing Refunds

On your phone via the yetipay mobile app

On your computer via basecamp - our web-based portal

On your card machine in either:

Open the app and find the transaction you want to refund

Select the transaction, and you'll see another screen with a button, Refund

Tap the refund button

You can choose the amount you want to refund, up to the maximum of the amount of the original transaction. E.g. if the original transaction was £10, you can refund any amount up to £10 for that transaction.

Log into Basecamp

From the main menu, choose Reporting

Select Transactions

Find the payment you want to refund by using the handy filtering options.

Once you've located the payment, click Refund on the right-hand side

Enter the amount you’d like to refund

Open the yetipay payments app

Tap the hamburger menu button (those three little lines) in the top right corner

Select All transactions

Use the filters to find the transaction you need

Press Refund

Enter the refund amount and an email address (if you'd like to send a receipt by email)

Open the pay-by-link app

Tap the three dots menu (in the top right)

Choose All transactions from the menu

You'll be prompted to enter a pin - you should have received this in your welcome email from yetipay. If you have lost it please ask your account manager/support for a copy.

Find the transaction you want to refund in the list, and tap the big pink refund button

Enter the amount you want to refund, up to the maximum of the amount of the original transaction. E.g. if the original transaction was £10, you can refund any amount up to £10 for that transaction.
