Pay by Link lets you securely accept payments from customers who aren’t physically present. Simply send a payment link via email or SMS directly from your device, making it quick and convenient to get paid.
Standard Transaction Limits
Pay by Link operates using standard limits that are available to all merchants:

£50 per transaction
£150 total per day
⚠️ Need higher limits?
Any request to increase these limits requires an application. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved before higher limits can be applied.
Simple Setup
There’s a short setup process to enable Pay by Link, and there are no additional setup fees.
Stripe Verification
Merchants onboarded on or after 1 August will have already completed Stripe verification during onboarding — no further action is needed.
Merchants onboarded before 1 August will need to complete a short Stripe verification, which takes around 2 minutes, using a secure verification link.
