Let’s start with the basics:

Typical issues with your device stem from one of two issues:

  1. Connectivity issues (most common)

  2. Device issues

The first point of call is to always check the internet connection:

  • Are you using Wifi or 4G?

    • If using Wifi, ensure the connection is stable and fast (a good way of testing this is by connecting to a phone using a 'hotspot*' and seeing if that fixes the problem [*needs 8 character password length])

    • If using 4G - see how many bars are showing. Less than full bars? We may have a problem with signal strength!

  • If you can - try connecting to the other option (ie. connect to a Wifi/Hotspot network if you are on 4G)


If it is not a connectivity issue - a simple restart can often do the trick!

Here’s how:

  1. Hold Down the Power Button: Press and hold the power button until the device turns off.

  2. Wait for It to Power Down: Allow a moment for the machine to fully shut down.

  3. Turn It Back On: Press the power button again to restart your device.

If a regular restart doesn’t resolve the issue, you may need to perform a hard reset:

  1. Turn Off the Device: Ensure that the device is completely powered down.

  2. Remove the Battery: Open the back of the device and carefully take out the battery.

  3. Wait 3 Seconds: Give it a brief moment before reinserting the battery.

  4. Reinsert the Battery: Place the battery back in and turn the machine on.
