How do I connect my new device (using it for the first time)?

When you first receive a new yetipay device you will need to connect it to your account!

Watch a video showing you how it's done:

Step 1: Scan the QR code - IMPORTANT: Scan the pink sticker QR code (not the QR code displayed on the device screen) or visit this link:

Step 2: Log into Basecamp using your email address and password provided during sign-up

Step 3: Select the store that the device will be used at (if you have more than one site using yetipay)

Step 4: Type in the PIN code displayed on the devices screen

Step 5: Go to Settings (enter your password - 4114) -> Apps [This will trigger the download of the Pay by Link application + any others you have signed up for]

DONE! You are now ready to take payments!!

Connecting a new device FAQs:

  1. What happens if I do not have a phone that scans a QR code?

    1. No issue! You can access the same link by following: https://basecamp.yetipay.me/assign-device

  2. What happens I have forgotten their Basecamp log-in details?

    1. In that case the best thing to do is to visit - https://basecamp.yetipay.me/signin

    2. At the bottom of the screen hit “Reset Password”

    3. Type in your email address and hit “Send Code”

    4. Then follow the steps in the email you receive to set up a new password.

    5. From here you can restart the process of connecting the device to the store by visiting: https://basecamp.yetipay.me/assign-device
