To add tips to payments you will require one of two tipping applications (TiPJAR or yetipay) - if you do not have one of these installed you will need to contact your account rep!
There are two options available:
1. TiPJAR tips: This option requires a unique short-code.
2. yetipay tips: This option can be enabled and does not require a unique short-code.
Enabling Tipping Options on yetipay Devices
To enable tipping options on your yetipay device, follow these steps:
Note: If tipping is already activated for your account, these steps will enable tipping prompts on your device automatically. Ensure that tipping is activated for your account by contacting customer support, if requested.
On your yetipay device, open the Settings menu.
Enter the device settings passcode to access further options.
Navigate to Configuration.
Tap the Update button to apply the latest configuration settings.
If you have the yetipay payments app:
When you make a transaction through the app, you'll see a tip prompt for whichever tip provider is enabled. Simply select a tip amount and you’re all set!
