Not accepting card payments

If your terminal does not accept card payments it may indicate any of the following:

  1. You have not enabled payment from that card type (eg. Amex) - this can be requested

  2. That the machine is experiencing connectivity issues (typically the machine appears slower than usual and does not accept payments)

  3. Something else

If your machine is experiencing connectivity issues:

  • Connect the machine to WiFi (if it has not been done already) - the 4G network may be slower than usual

  • If the card machine is connected to WiFi and the network is not the issue we suggest performing a reset


For other issues and to reset your machine:

  1. Remove the battery from the back of the machine

  2. Wait a few seconds

  3. Reinsert the battery and turn the machine on

  4. Retry the payment

Contact your rep, account manager or customer support directly! Once informed the activation takes less than 24 hours!
